Skoda also faced major challenges this year due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The Volkswagen subsidiary nevertheless managed to achieve a record market share and move up to sixth place in the brand ranking in Germany. The Czech manufacturer also wants to celebrate successes in 2021, and the importer's new e-models are expected to contribute even more than this year.
For this year, Skoda Germany expects around 180,000 new registrations. According to the Germany boss, the demand for Škoda's electric models is already high: the CitigoE iV and the Superb iV have had over 10,000 registrations so far.
